Unley Projects is a series of contemporary art projects initiated by OSCA AD  Paul Gazzola in partnership with the Unley Council  and made in collaboration with the SA artists – Rosina Possingham, Emma Beech, Susie Skinner, Nic Mollison, George Graetz and Kelly Reynolds.

Front Yard Slide Shows is a storytelling projection project that asks people to make a slideshow about the history of their house and stories of those who have lived there, that are screened in their front yard at night. 12 stories will be developed in different locations.

We are currently seeking homes in the Unley area to feature in this project, if you’d like to participate, please complete the form below.

Say my Name is a digital art/QR code paste up project that responds to the situation of people not getting your name right. This playful project asks locals to record themselves saying their own names correctly plus the other versions they have been called. These videos will be collated for an online video project.

These projects aim to generate local participation at a grass roots level, by focussing on people’s lives and the places where they live. Each proposal responds to a documented desire from residents to come together and connect with others in artistic activities that foster and enhance the local spirit of Unley.
