GAIL HOCKING

Gail Hocking was born in Opunake, Aotearoa (New Zealand). She graduated with a Master of Visual Arts (Research) from the University of South Australia in 2017. Gail has undertaken residencies at Cultivamos Cultura, São Luis, Portugal; Vancouver Arts Centre, WA and Flinders University Art Museum/Guildhouse Collections Project, SA.  She has exhibited widely, including at Depot Artspace, Auckland; Gallery-Smith, Melbourne; Faculty of Fine Arts Gallery of Lisbon, Portugal; and the Fremantle Arts Centre in Western Australia.  Her projects have been supported by numerous grants from Arts SA.  www.gailhocking.com
