BEN-HUR WINTER

Ben-Hur (he/they) is a multifaceted creative, cultural intermediary, dance artist and community services professional with a diverse portfolio spanning peer work and community activism, cultural production, art direction, brand development, and fashion styling (Australia, Philippines, USA).

Through culturally driven creative processes, they foster multidisciplinary collaboration, cross art-form initiatives, and community-based projects centred on social justice and Community Cultural Development.

Alongside the health and social sciences, Ben-Hur sees the arts, creativity, and deep restorative work as transformative tools for fostering self-empowerment, personal development, and community wellbeing.

A recipient of the South Australian Governor’s Multicultural Award for Arts and Culture (2014), Ben-Hur drives positive change through transnational community work and sustainable development initiatives—fuelled by a passion for creative expression and social impact.

OSCA

Our mission is to provide artists and non-artists with opportunities to create contemporary works that explore local ideas and new way of coming together in the public domain.

OSCA acknowledges we work on Kaurna Land – always was, always will be.

OSCA is funded by Arts South Australia. We also receive project support from the Australia Council, the City of Port Adelaide Enfield, Country Arts SA and the City of Onkaparinga.
