Yusuf Ali Hayat is committed to social justice. He has worked in leadership roles in the Arts as well as across social housing, social support and Emergency Relief. Yusuf holds degrees in Politics from the University of Leicester, and Visual Arts from UniSA. his PhD “Curries, Kurtas, & Burqas” considers encounters with art that can elicit joy and wonder that incite sincere empathic responses towards difference.
