I am a Narungga, Kaurna, Adnyamathanha and Wirangu woman. I was born in Maitland, South Australia and grew up in Point Pearce formerly known as Bookyanna, a small community on the Yorke Peninsula region with my family, although my family extends to the Adelaide, Flinders Ranges and West Coast region. I am an established artist working with acrylic. My main body of work is contemporary Aboriginal dot forms and still life objects. I paint from life where possible. I love nature and natural forms and try to capture something of their essence when I paint. I enjoy painting a variety of Aboriginal dot paintings and animals that are spiritually connected to not only Dreaming stories but also personal experiences. The artworks I create expresses great affection for my cultural and spiritual connection with my ancestors past & present. For the most part, I am self-taught and have developed my own arts practise around my cultural heritage Dreaming stories.
