Ruby Dolman completed her training at the Adelaide College of the Arts, graduating with a Bachelor of Dance Performance, 2014 and receiving the Arts Excellence Award for outstanding all round achievement in dance.

2017 Ruby Choreographed Ha’Adam a solo work based on humanity for The Adelaide Fringe Festival as well as performing in Lisa Lonero’s work Orange. Dolman worked in Jessie McKinlay’s first development of A Supposed Truth. During 2017 Ruby has also started developing her own work, Ha’Adam for Australian Dance Theatre’s Rough Draft and has recently created a new work Humans Anonymous during her Leigh Warren Dance Hub residency. Ruby performed in the Adelaide Fashion Festival choreographed by Penelope Shum and SUE commissioned by Paul Gazzola and the City of Onkaparinga. 

In 2016 Ruby was awarded a Personal Development Grant from Carclew to continue her dance studies overseas with both companies and independent dance artists throughout Israel and Europe, including Batsheva Dance Company, Vertigo and Hofesh Shetcher Dance Company.

During 2015 Ruby was apart of The Human Arts Movement under the artist directorship of Tobiah Booth-Remmers, and continues to create and collaborate with the Adelaide based dance group.
