Nadia Cusimano works across dance, performance, theatre and dramaturgy, creating projects that have seen her at the forefront of international contemporary performance practices. She was a collaborating member of Sasha Waltz & Guests dance company in Berlin and has worked on projects with Luc Dunberry, Xavier Le Roy, Eszter Salamon, Constanza Macras, Angelika Oei, Nigel Charnock and Lone Twin Theatre.

Since 1992 she has also created a variety of her own works from the video installation, What becomes me that was presented in Berlin and Perth, the choreography Miss Italie part 1 in Berlin, directed the Vagina Monologues at the Schaubhne am Lehniner Platz, Berlin and in 2003 was co-editor with Karl Stocker on the social studies book Insideout for the Graz Cultural Capital. Since 2005 she has been a guest lecturer at the Department of Exhibition and Museum studies, Fh-Joanneum, Graz, Austria. Since 2006 Nadia has collaborated with P. Bartoletti in Le Due Moine and continue to create and tour in Italy.

In Australia, Nadia has performed The Runner a Deborah Hay Solo at Performance Space, Sydney, The Invisible Game at the Meat Market, Melbourne and collaborated with Jochen Roller on The Dance Tourist as part of Oh I Wanna Dance with Somebody at Campbelltown Arts Centre. In 2012 she was a Community Advocate for ExpressWay Arts and edited the dvd/book The Urban Culture Interview Project. She was assistant to Chiara Guidi on Jack and the Beanstalk, presented at the 2015 Adelaide Festival. An ongoing collaboration with Paul Gazzola has seen the creation of community based works Temporary Art Gallery and Collectors/ Collections. She recently represented Australia at the 2015 Mons Cultural Capital events in Belgium with a new work Public Inn and is currently working as a dramaturge for Restless Dance Company.

She is a qualified BMC Somatic Movement Educator and Certified in Classical Pilates.
